A Day in the Life

As our HR Manager, you are the key advocate for our most valuable asset: our people. Your morning might involve conducting a final-round interview for a senior role, followed by preparing a competitive offer letter for a new hire. In the afternoon, you could be developing a new, engaging onboarding program to ensure every new team member feels welcome and set up for success. Later, you might mediate a workplace concern, provide confidential counsel to an employee, or advise a team lead on performance management best practices, all while ensuring our HR policies are up-to-date and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including crafting job descriptions, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and managing offers to attract and hire top-tier talent.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Design and continuously improve our onboarding process to ensure a seamless integration for new hires, and manage offboarding procedures professionally and smoothly.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the trusted point of contact for all employees, actively listening to concerns, mediating interpersonal issues, and fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Implement and oversee the company's performance appraisal system, providing training and guidance to managers on delivering constructive feedback and fostering employee development.
  • Policy & Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain clear HR policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with Pakistani labor laws and industry best practices.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Administer employee compensation, payroll, and benefits programs in collaboration with the finance department, ensuring they are competitive and equitable.

Key Responsibilities

Required (Must-Haves)

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in an HR management or senior HR generalist role.
  • In-depth, practical knowledge of Pakistani labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Strong experience in talent acquisition, particularly for roles within the technology or digital agency sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • High level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Preferred (Nice-to-Haves)

  • An MBA in HR or a relevant professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP).
  • Experience in a high-growth tech startup or digital agency.
  • Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
